ARE YOUR CATTLE FED ANYTHING OTHER THAN GRASS AT ANY POINT?

No. Cows are only supposed to eat grass. Thats all they eat. Period.


HOW BIG IS THE COMPANY?

We are an independent woman-owned small business of 3 people total, which means we personally do the ranching, transporting, packing, customer service and delivery ourselves. Our processing is done by a local butcher at a small family-owned state inspected processing plant.


WHATS THE STORY WITH YOUR LOGO?

As customers who have picked up may note, Pati is not afraid of color! She painted her house pink years ago because in her words “I don’t have an HOA and I do what I want.” While there’s nothing wrong with rustic/pastoral, it just ain’t us. Our logo takes the pink from Pati’s house and the blue from the Texas sky to leave a lasting impression on customers and stick out from the herd.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO BE READY?

We update our turnaround at the bottom of the website with our current estimated timeframe from order to delivery. Currently the best way to get any updates on your order is by texting us.



CAN I PICK UP MY COMBINATION BOX ORDER AT THE RANCH?

Pickups can be requested in the special notes field at checkout. We keep all of our inventory in a freezer an hour away and ship out from there. Please note that a pickup will not decrease your wait time, it will increase it slightly because we will have to bring it back and coordinate a time to pickup (as opposed to dropping it in the mail with our weekly shipments!). Local customers from Bastrop, Cedar Creek, etc. are already going to be set as a local delivery/pickup.


WHAT IS THE DELIVERY ZONE?

Please read our delivery guide to see if we can accommodate your delivery! We deliver to Austin, Bastrop and all surrounding areas. If you’re not a long drive, then you’re likely in network. We drive further for larger orders. Express boxes are delivered through next day UPS. We currently do not offer delivery to other states or countries. We’re small, y’all.


CAN I COME TO THE RANCH?

We are happy to schedule a ranch pickup for your online order. For appointments please contact sales@bastropcattlecompany.com or text/call 512-537-6893. We do not have a retail storefront.


ARE YOU AFFECTED BY THE BEEF SHORTAGE?

We have not yet had any issue with our supply of cattle. We do not work in any capacity with feedlots or factory farms, so their problems are unrelated to us.



DOES BCC HAVE A RETAIL SHOP?
No, we do not have an in-person storefront. We only do orders online or by email.


DO YOU SELL TO RESTAURANTS/GROCERY STORES?

Currently we only selling direct to customers. We are not taking on any wholesale clients right now, but feel free to message us if you’d like to explore a collaboration.
